Increasing a nonprofit’s digital visibility for fundraising

In early 2025, GMAACC started fundraising for their community center set to be built over the summer. The organization’s website had been outdated for a while and was due for a re-brand. Due to upcoming grant applications and donation needs, the staff were on a strict timeline to get their website ready to go.

Since the Implementation…

So, what was the old website missing?

Lack of Community Engagement Highlights

No streamlined pathways for volunteering or getting involved in programs

Outdated Brand Identity

Implementing a Branding Reset

What did stakeholders want?

  • Key words: community oriented, professional, modern, grassroots, unified

  • Website should align with the organization’s core mission and appeal to fundraisers and grant applications

The Result

  • vibrant, engaging, nature-themed colors, symbolizing youth, play and a community friendly atmosphere

  • Modern layout that balances streamlined information and visuals

  • Program photos were chosen to match the website’s theme, along with the organization’s focus on highlighting their civic engagement efforts, programming, and initiatives for grant-funding
